Further Information and Sources

Long’s Sketchy History of St. Paul’s Church, contains the following: “Elizabeth Metcalf, 1800 (?) – 1841, wife of John Metcalf, also Margaret Soaden, 1803-1844, second wife of John Metcalf” (pg 45, #49).  Elizabeth Metcalf is not listed in the burial register and probably died elsewhere.  (personal communication, WJ Patterson, 2016-01-02)
